The table below presents some BOE product features. For example:
- iA Financial Group offers Superior Program and Acci-Jet Program, both disability insurance products with optional BOE. The other three insurers in this segment offer one fully BOE product each: Canada Life with Overhead Expense Plan, Manulife with ExpenseComp, and RBC Insurance with Business Overhead Expense Insurance.
- Issue ages range from 18 to 60, except for the two iA products: 18 to 59 for Superior and 18 to 69 for Acci-Jet.
- Benefit periods vary between products. Canada Life and Manulife issue benefits for the shortest period: 12 months.
