Toronto-based, League Inc., a North American health operating system designed to provide a single access hub for employees to engage with their health, lifestyle and benefits programs, announced Feb 18 that it is adding six new partners to its list of health care providers on the system.

“The partners will seamlessly integrate within the League platform, consolidating what, for many employers, was once a series of disparate point solutions,” the company said in a statement released Feb. 18. The company says its goal is to make programs easier for employees to find, understand and use.

The new partners include eMindful (mindfulness programming), Vida Health (a virtual care platform using machine learning and real life health coaching), Rethink Benefits (a web-based program offering support for employees caring for a loved one with development disabilities or undiagnosed challenges with cognition and behaviour), InkBlot (focuses on secure video counseling), Akira (a virtual health application that allows members to conduct medical appointments on the phone or online) and Beacon (operated by the MindBeacon Group, Beacon provides users with customized courses of cognitive behavioural therapy through mobile devices or personal computers).

“We know that driving engagement in best-of-breed solutions is critical to improving health outcomes and managing healthcare costs for employers,” says League health principal, Heather Dalmasso. “Partnerships like these are critical in helping us eliminate any friction in the experience.”
