Financial Horizons Group announced on Dec. 14 a number of changes to its leadership team.

Among these changes, Paul Isaacson, President, Western Region, will be retiring from his role at the end of March 2021. He will take on the role of Special Advisor, Western Region, to help with the transition of Sales leadership in Western Canada, said FHG in a statement.

Chris Valardo, formerly President, Ontario & Atlantic Region, has been appointed as the new Executive Distribution Officer. In this role, he will be a national Sales leader working in partnership with Denis Blackburn (President, Quebec Region) and David Ho (President, Torce Financial Group & Vance Financial Group).

Guy Papillon’s role with the company has been expanded to President, Odyssey Financial Group, and Senior Vice-President, Group and Affinity Markets. He will continue to lead the Odyssey Financial Group line of business and will now lead Group Benefits and Affinity Markets initiatives at the national level, said FHG.

Louise-Marie Rousseau, formerly Vice-President, Sales, Quebec Region, for FHG has been appointed as the new Vice-President, National Sales, Excel Private Wealth, the organization’s mutual fund dealership. In this role, she will lead Sales efforts for the national dealership.

FHG adds that these changes come after Financial Horizons Group recently announced the appointment of Sylvie Amar, Vice-President, Product Strategy & Advanced Markets, and Joane Bourdeau, Vice-President, Vice-President, Operations – Financial Horizons Group, Quebec Region, and Excel Private Wealth.

“The changes that we’re sharing have been prompted by a number of different factors – retirements, new additions, and evolving strategies and business objectives,” stated Nick Pszeniczny, President & Chief Executive Officer, FHG. “The result is a leadership team comprised of accomplished experts who are positioned to help advisors achieve their definition of success and who will help our organization grow. We’re confident in the forward strides we’re making together.”
