Applied Systems achieves two objectives through its most recent acquisition.
When it bought out EZLynx, the technology company gained not only a brokerage management system but also a rating engine.
Applied Systems will now have access to a larger customer base, and will be able to add US insurer rating to its own broker management systems.
This acquisition “further demonstrates our commitment to providing technology choice for agencies of all sizes and increasing automation and connectivity between agencies and insurers to create a more valuable digital distribution channel,” says Taylor Rhodes, CEO of Applied Systems.
This is not Applied's first acquisition in North America. Its key acquisitions over the years include: Policy Works, Indio Technologies, TechCanary, NxTech and Compu-Quote.
