After a 25-year career at Desjardins, Michael Rogers has decided to reorient his career path by joining competitor Beneva, the name of the merged La Capitale and SSQ Insurance company.
Rogers, who held the position of Senior VP Independent Networks Sales and Distribution for Desjardins Insurance, will begin with Beneva on Jan. 18, as national brokerage vice president. His mandate will cover all of Canada, with a focus on development. Rogers confirmed the news with the Insurance Portal, saying he saw this role as a unique opportunity within a growing organization.
In a memo distributed to Desjardins' internal network, André Langlois, Vice President, Growth and Industry Relations Division at Desjardins Insurance, thanked Rogers for his leadership and dedication that marked his tenure at Desjardins and SFL Wealth Management.
Langlois also announced that he would now serve as Vice President, Independent Networks Sales and Distribution.
