Empire Life announced June 2 that is has entered into a new relationship with third-party payor, Simply Benefits, to jointly offer group benefits through a platform and process that is completely digital for advisors, employers and plan members.
In a statement announcing the new partnership, Simply Benefits says it was impressed with Empire Life’s digital technology, connectivity and flexibility. Simply Benefits aims to onboard new small and medium-sized Canadian businesses and their employees within days, from start to finish. Features of the company’s program include digital drug cards, live engagement statistics, AI-powered search, receipt scanning and more.
The suite of life, disability, health and dental benefits, along with the benefits management services for advisors and businesses – the product includes three integrated platforms for advisors, employers and employees to manage their own needs – are available in all provinces except Quebec.
