A new web platform from insurtech startup company, Life Simpli, launched April 8, offering clients the opportunity to compare instant quotes from Canadian life insurance companies and apply for suitable life insurance and critical illness insurance coverage within minutes.
The company says it also provides support from its own team of independent licensed insurance advisors, 24 hours a day, for those who would rather kickstart the process with a one-on-one interaction.
Using the platform’s three-step assessment and algorithm, Life Simpli finds appropriate policy options for the client and provides instant quotes from more than 10 insurance companies, including Manulife, Sun Life, BMO Insurance, Canada Life and Desjardins. This is followed by an application process for the client’s insurance coverage of choice, and a call with a Life Simpli licensed advisors to finalize the application and ensure that the customer fully understands the product.

The company says the platform will initially be available to clients in Ontario before it expands to other provinces, as well.
