Jones DesLauriers Consulting, the benefits consulting division of Jones DesLauriers Insurance, one of Navacord’s founding firms, has acquired Vita Assure. This brokerage and consulting firm, with offices in Montreal and Ottawa, provides group benefits and retirement solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises. 

The acquisition, effective October 1, “marks the first benefits-focused partnership for Navacord within Quebec and allows Jones DesLauriers Consulting to enter the province’s benefits consulting market,” according to the announcement release. 

Navacord, a brokerage consolidator, began operating in Quebec in 2019 with the opening of a Jones DesLauriers office in Laval. 

This is Navacord’s 11th acquisition of 2024. The previous one was announced last July.
