Navacord has announced, through a press release, its further expansion in Ontario, with the acquisition of Burke & Company and Orion Audit. 

Based in Kleinburg and in business since 1991, Burke & Company and Orion Audit has a consulting arm as well expertise in audit, claims control, and fraud analytics. 

“This partnership between Navacord and Burke & Orion complements Navacord’s ongoing build within the benefits, financial services, and wealth planning sector, bolstered by specialized expertise in claims and fraud analytics,” the release says.  

Announced on March 27, this acquisition took effect on March 1. It is the third acquisition made by the consolidator in Canada since the start of 2024, the company told Insurance Portal. It is the second acquisition of the year in Ontario. 

The company completed 22 acquisitions in 2023.
