Greg Framke has been named executive vice president and chief information officer at Manulife Financial.
In a statement released on Jan. 14, Manulife said that Framke will oversee the company's information services activities worldwide, and he will also be responsible for the organization's effective use of information technology. He will be a member of Manulife's executive and management committees, and will report to senior executive vice president and chief operating officer Paul Rooney.
Before joining Manulife, Framke was executive vice president and chief operations officer (COO) at E*Trade, where he managed all of the organization's technology and operations. "Greg has deep expertise in technology working for both large international technology organizations and fast growing startups. He has a proven track record of leading digital strategies to engage with the customer, particularly in the mobile space."
