Canada Life announced April 15 that it is partnering with Conquest Planning Inc. to deliver an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered financial planning platform designed to streamline the planning process and build plans which meet unique client goals.

The company says it plans to begin rolling out the application to some advisor groups in the summer of 2021.

Designed for real-time collaboration between advisors and clients, the platform allows both to set, track and continuously adjust personalized goals. In a statement, the companies both say the development will make personalized advice more accessible.

“Conquest will be a powerful new capability because it leverages AI to help advisors model multiple financial strategy combinations at once,” says Canada Life’s executive vice president, advisory network and industry affairs, Hugh Moncrieff. “Advisors can compare and select the best path for each client with greater collaboration and efficiency. Equipping advisors with digital solutions, like Conquest, allows them to spend less time manually entering data and more time educating clients. It makes personalized advice more accessible to Canadians.”

Calling the digital offering dynamic and collaborative, Conquest’s chief revenue officer, Brad Joudrie adds that the platform, available in Canada and the United Kingdom, also allows more transparency about the financial advice-giving process. “We are excited to partner with Canada Life as they look to engage more clients in a personalized advice experience,” he says.
