Well known in the industry for having held various management positions at The Guarantee Company of North America for almost 20 years, Dean Bast took on a new challenge in January.
He has joined Northbridge Insurance as director of the Onyx top-shelf personal insurance solution. The insurer markets high-value insurance products through this program.
"Mr. Bast is working closely with the business development and underwriting teams to increase Northbridge Insurance's presence in Ontario and the Maritimes," Northbridge spokesperson Amélie Vincent told the Insurance Portal.
Although this program is currently not available in Québec, Vincent says that "Northbridge will continue to monitor the Québec market to identify potential business opportunities.”
