Christiane VanBolhuis of Montreal has been a life insurance and mutual fund representative for Sun Life Financial for 10 years. She greatly values continuing education and always seeks to acquire new knowledge. Since beginning in the field, she has completed two university certificates, one in insurance and financial products and the other in financial planning. She started a Master’s degree in taxation in 2016. She also holds a designation in financial planning, group insurance license and C.L.U. and R.L.U. titles conferred by Quebec’s Chambre de la sécurité financière, a self-regulatory organization for advisors.

VanBolhuis distinguishes herself by her active involvement in the financial community. She also provides financial education in the workplace. She is involved in promoting her profession through her participation on the Board of Directors of the Council of Professionals in Financial Service until April 2017, and through her numerous roles with the Chambre de la sécurité financière.

VanBolhuis is co-manager of her own firm: Solutions Financières Wallace & VanBolhuis Inc., a partner of Sun Life Financial. At Sun Life, she is also a mentor to young advisors.
