Invisor has partnered with Teachers Life to offer Invisor TermLife Insurance. In doing so, the company says it has become Canada’s first robo-advisor to add a fully digital insurance service.

Using this platform, Canadians can buy life insurance completely online for up to $500,000 in coverage for flexible terms of 10 to 40 years, said Invisor in an announcement May 11.

"We are excited about our partnership with Teachers Life and the opportunity to offer Canadians a flexible, fully underwritten life insurance solution through our unique online experience," said Dan Poole, co-founder and COO at Invisor.

Simplifying the buying process

"Invisor was founded on the principles of simplifying the buying process for Canadians, and providing them with great products at affordable prices. Our partnership with Teachers enhances our abilities in these areas," Poole added.

"We are pleased to partner with Invisor on Invisor TermLife Insurance," says Doug Baker, CEO of Teachers Life. "Invisor is an experienced group dedicated to providing Canadians with innovative insurance technology solutions, and Teachers Life is proud to work with their team."

Invisor also offers online investment management services. Its insurance offering is currently available to Canadians living in Ontario and Manitoba.
