Phil Marsillo to retire from Canada Lifepar The IJ Staff | March 30 2017 02:30PM
Phil Marsillo, Senior Vice-President, Distribution for Canada Life Distribution is retiring this summer, announced the company via a statement from Nick Pszeniczny, Executive Vice-President, Advisory Network released March 30.
Pszeniczny described Marsillo as a “passionate advocate” for the Canada Life channel who has earned the respect of colleagues and advisors, alike.
“The relationships Phil built with principals in our managing general agencies and National Account leaders have reinforced strong partnerships with Canada Life. I personally thank Phil for his many years of loyal and dedicated service. I’m grateful to him for staying with us until the summer as we continue to build out Advisory Network,” stated Pszeniczny.
Advisory Network is the new name of the Great-West Life, Canada Life and London Life distribution organization.
Marsillo, who began his career in the industry in 1983, was featured in The Insurance and Investment Journal’s recent special report highlighting 20 industry leaders.
