InsuranceINTEL, the Insurance Journal Publishing Group’s product and market information centre for the life and health insurance industry in Canada, is adding a new comparative analysis component to its service. This analysis will be focused on travel insurance products sold in Canada. This new addition will focus on single-trip coverage.

Travel insurance is thus added to the seven product segments already listed in this product and market monitoring service, which tracks changes to insurance products in Canada.

By bringing together, in one place, key information such as coverages, assistance services, exclusions and available options, this tool will allow users to more easily compare the different offerings available on the market and help their clients make informed decisions.

The launch is planned as soon as the latest data from participating insurers is received. This component will be available at no cost to companies already subscribing to InsuranceINTEL

With the addition of travel insurance, InsuranceINTEL will now analyze more than 450 insurance products sold in Canada. This addition is part of its mission to present reliable and relevant data to support competitive intelligence for insurance industry professionals.

InsuranceINTEL is currently working on adding comparative analyses of property and casualty insurance products for Canadian businesses.
