Hub International announced April 6 that it has acquired the shares of ES3 Insurance Services Ltd., operating as ES3 Advisory. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

ES3 Advisory is a Vancouver-based employee benefits and pension consulting firm, which was founded in 1999 by its president Darrell Ert.

"ES3 is perfectly set up for the next chapter with a partner that shares our values and has the scale to make a real difference in the North American space," said Ert in an announcement.

ES3 Advisory, led by Faizal Mitha, Vice President of Employee Strategies, will join Hub TOS reporting to Dave Terry, President of Hub TOS.

This is a latest in a series of acquisitions for Hub International in the employee benefits space. On April 3 Hub announced that it had acquired The Benefits Company. In early March it announced the acquisition of GMS Insurance and in February it announced that it had purchased Pointbreak Consulting Group.
