Carolyn Rogers named assistant superintendent at OSFI

Carolyn Rogers has been appointed to serve as assistant superintendent in the regulation sector at the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI). She will begin on August 15.

OSFI superintendent Jeremy Rudin announced Rogers' appointment on May 12, and says she will also join OSFI’s executive committee. In order to join OSFI, Rogers is leaving her position as superintendent and chief executive officer of British Columbia's Financial Institutions Commission (FICOM), where she has worked since 2010.

"Before entering the BC public service, Ms. Rogers worked in various roles in the private sector, including as CFO and CEO of a private company. She also worked in the financial services sector at several credit union organizations and a major bank," reads the statement from OSFI. "Ms. Rogers earned a Master of Business Administration from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Arts from Brandon University. She is a CPA, CMA and has completed the Institute of Corporate Directors program."
