Financial information provider CANNEX has appointed Kimberley Muise to be its vice president of business development for Canada.

Besides business development, Muise will be responsible for managing the CANNEX Financial Network (CFN) in support of bank product data and GIC transactions, as well as for the company's Canadian fund and annuity product services.

Before joining CANNEX, Muise was with the TMX Group for 11 years, where she served as director of registry business at the Canadian Depository for Securities and as director of content and electronic innovation at TMX Datalinx. Prior to this, she was responsible for product management at CIBC Wood Gundy’s full-service and discount brokerage businesses. Muise has a degree in mathematics and statistics from The University of Western Ontario.

“We are delighted that Kim has joined CANNEX to help build our business and oversee the delivery of our products to the more than 100 financial institutions using our data and tools in Canada,” comments CANNEX co-founder and CEO Lowell Aronoff. “An experienced and talented leader, she will also play a key role as a representative and thought leader in the Canadian financial community. Her addition to the CANNEX team is an important step as we continue to grow our business.”
