NFP Canada has made several appointments in recent weeks at the national level.
One of these moves aims to stimulate its growth in Quebec.
The brokerage firm has recruited France Dallaire to fill the position of senior vice president, operations, for Ogilvy Insurance, which was acquired in late 2020.
Dallaire's responsibilities will extend well beyond Ogilvy Insurance: She is overseeing all of NFP's operations in Quebec, NFP told The Insurance Portal. First, she will lead Ogilvy Insurance’s transition to the NFP Canada roster by the end of the year.
In addition, she will manage the brokerage firm’s day-to-day P&C insurance operations in Quebec. She will thus lead business development in all market segments where NFP is active in the province.
Dallaire will also be the main contact person for insurers and suppliers with whom NFP does business in Quebec. Her role also includes keeping an eye out for acquisition opportunities.
Her track record
Prior to joining NFP, Dallaire worked at RSA Canada as a senior manager of SME and Personal Insurance. She joined RSA in early 2020.
Dallaire also worked for Promutuel Assurance from 2013 to 2019, notably as vice president of the mutual's client contact centre, based in Longueuil. She also oversaw all urban brokerage activities.
Prior to that, Dallaire held management positions at Aviva Canada, Optimum Société d’Assurance and ING Canada. She began her insurance career at belairdirect as a personal insurance lines agent, and then worked as an instructor.
