Under the theme, Dare to Grow – more than 1200 life insurance advisors gathered together at the fifth annual Canada Sales Congress in Toronto on May 24. A roster of 12 Sales Masters from Canada, the U.S. and the U.K. shared their insight and expertise with an appreciative audience. Once again this year, Jim Ruta, renowned financial industry speaker, author, consultant and CSC Co-founder, was the event’s Master of Ceremonies.

Brought to the industry by The Insurance and Investment Journal, the 2017 Canada Sales Congress provided attendees with a golden opportunity to catch up with industry colleagues and meet new contacts. Event sponsors and exhibitors were on hand to showcase their products and services to attendees in the dynamic Exhibition Hall.

Several companies contributed to the success of the 2017 Canada Sales Congress. The main sponsors were: Canada Life, Desjardins Insurance, PPI Solutions and Manulife. Advocis, The Financial Advisors Association of Canada, was an association partner. PPI Solutions sponsored the Masters Gala Luncheon; Edge Benefits the tote bag; EquiSoft the badge, HUB Financial the fruit-flavored water bar, Kronos Technologies provided a mobile app and Tech Platforms a cell phone and laptop recharging station. Financial Horizons Group offered complimentary parking; LivingFace Photography provided a complimentary professional photo service; Best Doctors and Dynacare Insurance Solutions teamed up to offer a blood pressure clinic and The Insurance and Investment Journal helped attendees relax with two massage therapy stations. InsuranceINTEL sponsored breakfast, coffee breaks and the closing cocktail.

It was simply a wonderful day and on behalf of the organizing team, I would like to thank everyone who made it happen. See you next year on May 23, 2018 at the sixth annual Canada Sales Congress!
