Korina Fandrick made her entrance into the financial services world in 2006 when branch manager Steve Booker heard about “a phenomenal advisor’s assistant who was being underutilized.” After meeting, she was urged to join the team at Milestone Asset Management/Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management in Calgary.

Since then, Fandrick has gone on to get her securities, life and accident and sickness licences as well as her Certified Financial Planner designation. 

Described as a driver and innovator, Fandrick helped develop the firm’s S-Curve Formula. Aimed at independent business owners, the formula identifies the challenges that may lie ahead of them, enabling advisors to develop proactive strategies for clients. The process also works as a gap analysis on clients’ existing investment and insurance planning path to determine if there are any shortfalls. This structure gives business owners greater clarity and confidence, freeing them up to direct their energy towards growing their businesses.

A lifelong resident of Alberta, Fandrick said the driver behind her work is the relationships and bonds the firm has been able to build with clients.

“It is this entire process that inspires us: building solid, long-lasting relationships with our clients and helping them achieve their goals and aspirations, both for themselves, and for future generations,” she said.

Her future goals involve helping to keep up with change and evolving to meet needs. This may mean adding certain products, services or professional designations as they become available, especially with the impact of constantly changing technology.
