Sun Life Financial Inc. announced February 6 that it has appointed Joseph Natale, former president and CEO with Rogers Communications Inc., and Telus Corporation, to the Sun Life board of directors, effective February 7.
In a statement, the company says the former communications CEO’s passions and expertise include transforming customer experiences, along with health and wellness. Natale also holds board positions with Home Capital Group and the Hospital for Sick Children and sits on the advisory board of Atlas Partners. He spent nearly five years at the helm of Rogers, between 2017 and 2021 and more than 12 years prior to that with Telus in progressively senior roles, including the CEO’s position.
In additional to his experience in acquisitions, new brand and business launches, consumer experience and digital transformation, Natale also spent more than 10 years in global consulting, holding various roles including global industry leader and managing partner at KPMG Consulting after the firm he co-founded was acquired by KPMG.
