Navacord Corp., announced on March 16 the acquisition of Arbutus Financial Services. In addition, Navacord partner Allwest Insurance Services Ltd has acquired Surrey Insurance. Both acquisitions were effective March 1, 2022.
Arbutus has locations in Vancouver and Nanaimo and provides a corporate portfolio including group benefits and retirement consulting, and individual financial planning, wealth management and life insurance solutions. “Arbutus Financial brings a diverse range of sector specialization to Navacord, including deep expertise within the mining, gaming technology, software, and film industries,” says Navacord.
Surrey Insurance, based in the city that is its namesake, offers a range of auto, life, travel and home insurance across B.C.’s lower mainland.
The Surrey Insurance team will now operate under the Allwest Insurance brand.
