GPL-Gallagher is welcoming a new president.

The company has announced that Louis-Thomas Labbé is vacating the top management position to become Chairman of the Board of Directors within the brokerage firm. Christian Giner will now act as president for Quebec.

Why this change?

Following the merger with Gallagher, Labbé committed to continue leading the company in Quebec for three years. "He is now stepping down after helping GPL-Gallagher become a leading player in the Quebec insurance brokerage industry," the company says.

Labbé will continue to address the needs of the brokerage's major clients and contribute to the company's growth.

Giner has been with GPL-Gallagher for over a decade. He most recently served as Chief Operating Officer.

The incoming president will be in charge of leading the development of the company and its positioning as an integral part of Gallagher in Canada. "This new role is a logical extension of his significant contribution to the development and growth of the company since joining it," the brokerage says.
