Normand Pépin

iA Financial Group has announced the June 20th retirement of Normand Pépin, executive vice-president and assistant to the president, after more than 46 years of service.

Pépin began his career with the company in 1973 as an actuarial analyst and quickly assumed leadership roles of increasing responsibility in actuarial services, IT and the group sectors. He was responsible for the individual insurance and annuities lines of business for more than 30 years, a position that he held until 2015. He then led corporate development for the organization.

Pépin called builder and architect

“Normand is recognized both within and outside iA Financial Group as a builder and architect who has worked devotedly on the development of our organization since the 1980s,” said Denis Ricard, president and Chief Executive Officer of iA Financial Group.

“Growing our distribution networks, our footprint outside Quebec and our wealth management business are just a few examples of the transformative projects led by Normand Pépin that have made our company what it is today. Normand has been instrumental in leading virtually every acquisition made by iA Financial Group over the last 30 years.”
