PPI has announced the appointment of Jim Virtue as President and Chief Operating Officer of PPI. Virtue was previously Executive Vice-President of PPI, and President and CEO of PPI Solutions.

“Jim’s promotion is part of our long-term strategy of building continuity of leadership for the future,” stated James A. Burton, Executive Chairman and CEO of PPI in an announcement issued Nov. 20. “I continue as Executive Chairman and CEO of PPI, and John McKay continues as PPI’s Executive Vice-President and Actuary. Together, we are excited about PPI’s future.”

Virtue first joined PPI in 2010, when PPI acquired the Financial Management Group of Companies. “Supporting the broad market in Canada and operating under the PPI Solutions name, this division of PPI grew significantly over the past nine years,” says PPI.

Virtue is a Chartered Accountant by training and holds his CFP and CLU designations. He is a member of CALU (Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting) and is the past Chair of the Advocis national board, He is Past Chair of The Institute (the designation granting body of Advocis), and the former President of Advocis (Calgary).
