IG Wealth Management and Carbon Streaming Corporation are offering four diversified managed investment solutions to help clients support the transition to net-zero emissions. The investments, known as the IG Climate Action Portfolios, are available to Canadians interested in providing exposure to climate-related approaches that will benefit the planet, protect capital, provide income as well as long-term capital appreciation.
The portfolios' estimated emissions will be compensated for by the purchase and retirement of carbon credits. The portfolios' first carbon credits have been purchased and retired from the world-renowned Rimba Raya Biodiversity Reserve, one of the largest peat swamp forest conservation projects in the world.
