National certification and professional oversight body, FP Canada, announced the three top Certified Financial Planner (CFP) candidates who scored the highest in the June 2022 sitting of the CFP exam.

The CFP exam is held three times a year. The next two sittings take place in October 2022 and February 2023. The six-hour exam consists of stand-alone, multiple choice and case-based response questions.

The top three scores for the June 2022 sitting of the CFP exam earn candidates a place on the FP Canada’s President’s List.

First place went to Chantelle Martin of Buck Creek, Alberta. Martin currently works with ATB Securities Inc. The second-place score belonged to Thomas Johnson of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Johnson is currently with Cascade Financial Inc. Finally, third place went to Philippe Drouin of Embrun, Ontario. Drouin is with Ryan Lamontagne Inc.
