Insurance software firms EquiSoft and AGEman Solutions are working to integrate their platforms.

The two companies announced yesterday that they have signed an agreement under which AGEman Solutions will make sure that EquiSoft's InsuranceElements and WealthElements connect to its platforms and EquiSoft will use its technological expertise to contribute to the development of AGEman products and accelerate its growth in the Canadian market.

The firms say they are working towards a common objective, namely to provide Canadian financial services industry with a software suite that links together the various elements of the distribution chain: insurers, paramedical firms, national agencies or accounts, and advisors.

"The connectivity of our platforms to the AGEman OFFICE system will bring significant benefits for our customers," comments Luis Romero, founder and CEO of EquiSoft. AGEman president Nathan Carey adds that the new agreement will allow his firm to concentrate all of its resources on developing specialized solutions and on building the new web-based version of AGEman Office, which is planned for 2017.

"This partnership with EquiSoft will make it much easier for advisors who deal with national accounts and agencies to access and use data, and it will provide insurers with quality data without having to re-enter it into their system," says Carey.
