FP Canada announced March 23 its 2020 President’s List which recognizes candidates who received the top marks on last November’s Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Exams.  

In first place is Rory Drennen of Ottawa who works with RBC. In second place is Jarrett Holmes of Winnipeg (Ironshield Financial Planning Inc.) and in third place, Kristopher Kibler of Calgary (Flight Plan Financial Corp.

FP Canada also recognized the top scoring candidate for the November sitting of the Qualified Associate Financial Planner exam. The first recipient of the QAFP Exam Award of Merit is Nicole Robyn, from Hamilton, ON (RBC). 

"Congratulations to the successful candidates on the 2020 exams. These candidates demonstrated exceptional dedication and focus to score top marks, despite the challenges posed by the pandemic," stated Cary List, President and CEO of FP Canada. 

In response to the pandemic, FP Canada offered candidates the option of taking the exams through online proctoring in November. FP Canada will continue to offer the CFP Exam and the QAFP Exam through online proctoring throughout 2021. The next two certification exams will be held in May and October, 2021.
