PlanPlus, a Toronto-based investment and financial planning software company, and FinaMetrica, an Australia-based company specialized in financial risk tolerance measurement tools, announced Aug. 7 that they have merged. The merger took effect as of August 1.
They will now be called PlanPlus Global, however the two brands will continue to offer products separately. The two companies had already been working in collaboration for over a decade before the merger.

Brayman, founder of PlanPlus, is PlanPlus Global’s CEO. Resnik, co-founder of FinaMetrica, is now Director of Global Markets. Meanwhile, the other co-founder of FinaMetrica, Geoff Davey, will be leaving the business after having retired from executive roles in 2015.
All employees from PlanPlus and FinaMetrica will continue on with the new company, while Sydney, Australia, where FinaMetrica was based, has now been added to the five PlanPlus offices cities around the world. PlanPlus Global serves customers in over 30 countries, including Canada, the US, the UK, Australia, India, Germany, South Africa, and Malaysia.
