The Insurance Brokers Association of Canada (IBAC) announced that it has appointed 11 new members to the IBAC board of directors for 2019-2020. It also introduced and installed its new executive committee at the same time. The appointments were confirmed at the IBAC annual general meeting held in Winnipeg in September.

The association’s new executive committee is chaired by Chris Floyd of Kitchener, Ontario. Kent Rowe of St. John’s will serve as IBAC’s president. The executive committee also includes president elect, Robyn Young of Calgary, and Linda Dolan of Port Alberni, British Columbia and July Marshal from Strathmore, Alberta as vice presidents.

“IBAC’s executive committee and board of directors are dedicated individuals,” says Peter Braid, CEO of IBAC. “I look forward to working closely with them to further strengthen the insurance broker profession and promote the value of brokers as trusted and respected insurance experts.”
