BrokerLink announced on March 5 that it has acquired Owen Sound, Ontario-based Hanbidge & Bowman Ltd. Insurance Professionals.
Established in 1947, Hanbidge and Bowman Insurance offers its clients home, auto, business and farm insurance. The firm’s team members will stay on as part of the BrokerLink team, stated the brokerage consolidator in a press release announcing the deal.
The acquisition, effective since March 1, 2024, is BrokerLink’s first of the year. BrokerLink previously told Insurance Portal that it purchased a total of 20 brokerages in 2023.
