Naunidh S. Hunjan obtained his insurance license the same year he graduated from high school. Just eight years later in 2011, Hunjan Financial Group Inc. – an AGA (Associated General Agency) of 40 advisors based in Mississauga – opened its doors.

“It was a great blessing, and undoubtedly my happiest moment in this business when I was able to open my current office with 40 fellow advisors,” he says. “I am very proud to share this love of service with such caring, intelligent and likeminded people.”

Since launching Hunjan Financial, he has regularly pursued continuing education, collecting a wide variety of designations in a relatively short period of time. Since 2012, he’s obtained his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHS) designations, his Elder Planning Counselor (EPC) license and Certified Professional Consultant on Aging (CPCA) designation and the Certified Sales Executive (CSE) accreditation. Outside of the office, Hunjan serves as a committee member with his local Advocis chapter. He also volunteers his time singing and teaching the use of Indian musical instruments at local temples.

Today Hunjan is the top advisor in his company and one of the top advisors at his managing general agency (MGA), PPI Solutions. To serve his millennial clients, he uses online quoting tools and applications to present and deliver policies. He looks forward to the future where using voice recognition tools like Alexa can help millennials find out more about their policies.

“There have been many changes in this industry in recent years and I feel that we are also on the brink of even greater changes,” he says. “I think, as an industry, we need to adapt more readily and embrace that coming change.”
