JUSTINE ZAVITZ
Vice President, Advisor
Zavitz Insurance Inc.

Just 10 years into her career and Justine Zavitz has more experience and credentials to her name than most people do when they retire.

She’s a regular speaker, giving talks at conferences, in university classrooms and in educational seminars across the country. She does committee work with CALU (the Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting) and sits on the national board of directors for Advocis. As part of her work with Advocis – both as past president of the London (Ontario) chapter and as a member of the national board - Zavitz meets with provincial and federal Members of Parliament to make recommendations when public policy is being created which affects the industry. Zavitz was named one of The Insurance and Investment Journal’s 50 Women of Influence in 2014.

Additionally, she spends countless hours volunteering in the community – doing everything from board work to financial literacy coaching for low income earners. Thanks to her dedication to the community and leadership qualities, Zavitz was also named one of London’s Top 20 under 40 in 2013.

What’s more, she does all of this while also bringing in 60-100 new clients each year. Licensed in seven provinces (Zavitz also holds her CFP, CHS and CLU designations), she writes close to 400 applications each year and works as a shareholder and management team member in her family’s business, Zavitz Insurance Inc.

Her enthusiasm, positive attitude, hard work, dedication, patience and tact, along with her ability to explain and answer questions make her a popular manager and sought-after mentor.

In her business, Zavitz is currently using her business background to help implement procedures and processes needed for the company to expand while she continues to do her best work – with clients.
