The Co-operators announced March 27 that it has successfully implemented Equisoft's WealthElements suite and Client Portal module. These new needs analysis tools will be available to The Co-operators' network of financial advisors and their clients.

Robo technology

WealthElements is a web-based planning solution that uses a set of sales, compliance and engagement toolsets that integrate with a firm's existing platforms to develop a personalized plan. The Client Portal module leverages robo-technology, which enables clients to enter information like net worth, cashflow and financial objectives “and engage an advisor when they're ready,” says the company.

"Our vision is to become our clients' most valued partner in their financial well-being," said Tony Gottlieb, Program Director, Wealth Management Strategy at The Co-operators. "Being the industry leader in client engagement is a priority for us, and our clients tell us they want choice in how they interact with The Co-operators. Equisoft's WealthElements suite and Client Portal allow us to deliver on this request – financial advisors can offer holistic life and wealth solutions that are scaled to the client's needs, and the client can choose to interact with us in-person, by phone or online. We're excited to be the first organization to offer the Client Portal in Canada."

First official release of Client Portal module

"We're extremely proud of this achievement for a marquee client," said Jonathan Georges, Vice President, Wealth Management Solutions at Equisoft.  "Our solution is currently used by thousands of advisors worldwide, but it's the first official release of our Client Portal module. This is a major milestone for us as we continue to expand our product offering with the objective of supporting our clients in their efforts to remain competitive in an increasingly digital world."
