Marc Doré is the new president and chief operating officer of PEAK Financial Group.

PEAK announced Doré's appointment on Feb. 23, and says that he will report directly to the firm's chairman and chief executive officer, Robert Frances. Doré has worked with a number of companies in the real estate and investment industries, including Quebecor World and the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec's subsidiary Ivanhoe Cambridge. At PEAK, he will lead the management team and oversee all aspects of company operations.

In the press release announcing his appointment, Frances said that Doré's arrival will give him the opportunity to focus on PEAK’s growth across Canada, as well as innovation and new opportunities for independent financial advisors.
