Waypoint Insurance, a B.C. firm owned by Ontario consolidator Navacord, acquired GNK Insurance Services Inc. on March 1.
Based in Burnaby and Vancouver, GNK provides property and casualty insurance to individuals and businesses in British Columbia and Alberta.
“This partnership further develops Navacord’s position in the province, and advances their vision of building the great Canadian brokerage,” the consolidator says.
Contacted by the Insurance Portal, Navacord confirms that this is its fourth acquisition in 2021. The transaction is the second led by Waypoint; the first one closed on January 4.
