National Bank has announced the winners of its Women in Financial Markets Internship Program for 2018.

At a reception to honour the recipients, Denis Girouard, Executive Vice-President – Financial Markets, awarded $5,000 to Chanel Matte, Eugenia Turculet and Jaskirat Sahi. The three students also received internship offers to start their careers in National Bank's Financial Markets sector.

Matte is currently doing a Master's degree in Management, Finance specialization at HEC Montréal. She will be doing her internship with the Corporate Treasury team.

Turculet is currently doing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance specialization at HEC Montréal. She will be doing her internship with the Corporate and Investment Banking group.

Sahi is doing a Bachelor's degree in accounting and financial management at the University of Waterloo. She too will be doing her internship with the Corporate and Investment Banking group.
