Manulife Investments announced Dec. 12 portfolio manager changes to two of its funds sub advised by Mawer Investment Management Ltd.: Manulife Diversified Investment Fund and Manulife Tax-Managed Growth Fund.

Effective Jan. 1, 2019, Craig Senyk is being appointed to the role of president of Mawer Investment Management Ltd. To focus on this new role, he will be stepping down as the lead manager on Manulife Diversified Investment Fund and Manulife Tax-Managed Growth Fund. Travis Goldfeldt, who is already a named portfolio manager on both funds, will take over lead portfolio manager duties and Steven Visscher will be added to both funds as co-manager.

Goldfeldt has more than 11 years of investment experience at Mawer. A CFA charterholder since 2011, he graduated with a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Business Administration with a finance concentration and a minor in economics from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Visscher joined Mawer in 2005 and is a member of the asset allocation team. He received his Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Alberta. He holds the Canadian Investment Manager designation and is a CFA charterholder.

The Manulife Diversifed Investment Fund was capped to new purchases in 2013 and the Manulife Tax-Managed Growth Fund was closed to new investments in 2014.
