DGAM introduces new emerging market ETFpar The IJ Staff | December 01 2017 09:45AM
Desjardins Global Asset Management (DGAM) announced Dec. 1 the launch of the new Desjardins Emerging Markets Multifactor-Controlled Volatility ETF.
"Given our earlier launches of developed market ETFs, an emerging market solution was the next major market segment selected for our Multifactor – Controlled Volatility ETF approach. We are now in a position to offer our unique and innovative construction strategy to all of our clients for all of the major markets of the world" says Nicolas Richard, Chief Operating Officer of DGAM.
The new fund trades on the TSX under the ticker symbol DFE.
DGAM says currently the fund seeks to replicate the performance of the Scientific Beta Emerging Markets Multifactor–Controlled Volatility Index, net of fees and expenses. Under normal market conditions, the fund will primarily invest in emerging markets securities.
