In an interview with The Insurance and Investment Journal, Canada Protection Plan (CPP) vice president of sales, Michael Azizrevealed that his company will provide an electronic application for advisors starting on May 30. It will be available in both English and French.

The official launch will take place at the end of June. "All our products will be available, permanent and term," said Aziz. He also indicated that the new application will accept electronic signatures.

Several smartphone models

In addition, he says advisors will be able to use the application on computers, tablets, and on several smartphone models. The application can be completed alongside the customer or it can be done remotely.

The application progresses gradually as the advisor completes the process with the client. Suggestions are offered when the client finishes the selection stage. Clients could, for example, be granted access to products with higher health requirements provided their fitness level warrants it.
