BrokerLink announced it ended 2022 with a total of 24 acquisitions. The latest was announced through a press release on Jan. 4, 2023. It became effective on Dec. 1, 2022.
With this latest acquisition, the subsidiary of Intact Financial Corporation has expanded further into Ontario. The company acquired URS Insurance, an insurer offering home and condo insurance, automobile insurance, as well as tenant and recreational vehicle coverage.
“The brokerage specialized in niche business insurance, including coverage for home inspectors and energy auditors” stated the release.
BrokerLink made 21 acquisitions in 2021, 18 in 2020 and 23 in 2019.
