Insurance Journal Publishing Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Amélie Cléroux as Managing Editor, effective June 15, 2026.

Since joining the company in 2025, Ms. Cléroux has made a significant contribution to strengthening our editorial content in her role as desk journalist.

Known for her rigor, curiosity and commitment to high-quality journalism, she has brought a fresh perspective to our editorial processes while earning the deep respect of her colleagues.

Since joining the organization, Amélie Cléroux has distinguished herself through her editorial work on news coverage and feature content, helping deliver information that is accurate, relevant and accessible to readers, despite the complexity of the topics covered.

She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the Université du Québec à Montréal and has more than ten years of experience in writing, editing and content coordination.

Before joining Insurance Journal Publishing Group, she worked as a journalist for Protégez-Vous magazine and contributed as a freelance writer to several leading media outlets and publications, including Protégez-Vous, Châtelaine, Verdict Santé, La Presse, Espaces and Géo Plein Air. She has also held editorial management and project coordination roles and taught journalism at the secondary-school level.

As Managing Editor, she will spearhead the editorial strategy across Insurance Journal Publishing Group’s publications to deliver high-impact content, while driving the development of our digital and print information services for our readers – Canada’s top insurance professionals and industry leaders.
