Traditionally male-dominated, the Canadian life insurance industry is changing. Many women are now reaching the highest ranks at insurance companies, managing general agencies and within industry associations. Others are distinguishing themselves as trusted advisors. In the following pages, we are proud to highlight the accomplishments of 50 of these influential women who are contributing their energy, talents and determination toward the same goal – the financial security of Canadians.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the readers and organizations who took the time to suggest influential women for this special report. We would also like to thank journalists Kate McCaffery, Susan Yellin, Rosemary McCracken, Alain Thériault and Sandrine Champigny and our graphic designer, Myriam Lauzon, for their excellent work and dedication. Finally, a huge thank you and our congratulations to our 50 Women of Influence!
