FP Canada announced on July 26 the names of the individuals who received the top scores for the May 2022 sitting of the Qualifed Associate Financial Planner (QAFP) exam. 

These QAFP candidates had the highest scores, earning them the QAFP Exam Award of Merit: in first place, Melissa Laursen of Carleton Place, ON (PWL Capital Inc.); in second place, Lauren Wierzbicki of Revelstoke, BC (IG Wealth Management); and in third place, Adam Malcolm of Toronto, ON (IG Wealth Management).

The QAFP exam is a four-hour standardized national examination with questions focusing on specific elements of the FP Canada Standards Council Competency Profile. FP Canada offers the QAFP exam in both English and French three times each year.
