BrokerLink announced the acquisition of two more firms based in the Greater Toronto Area. 

On June 1, BrokerLink, a subsidiary of Intact Financial Corporation, acquired William C. Aitken Insurance. Founded in 1946, the firm offers home, auto, and a variety of specialized commercial insurance products, including non-standard commercial property and marine liabilities. 

Tenth acquisition 

Since July 1, Louis Meier Insurance Brokers has also become part of the firm affiliated with BrokerLink. Founded in 1963, the company provides insurance products to individuals (auto, home, and recreational vehicles) and businesses. 

These two transactions bring the number of acquisitions made by BrokerLink in 2024 to 10. The previous acquisition was announced in early June and also took place in Ontario. 

BrokerLink's network now includes more than 200 branches and 3,700 employees.
