Christopher Dewdney is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP)®and a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU)®* who specializes in providing tax, wealth and risk planning advice to those with complex personal and professional needs. Busy professionals and business owners alike trust Christopher to create holistic risk management and wealth accumulation plans that take both business planning and unique family needs into consideration.
Christopher is also a Certified Health Insurance Specialist (CHS)TM, a Certified Professional Consultant on Aging (CPCA)® and an Elder Planning Counsellor (EPC). In addition to the work he does with clients, Christopher has served on the board for Advocis, Toronto chapter. He was also the treasurer for the young leadership council of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.
With nearly two decades of experience Christopher is committed to promoting financial literacy, access to financial planning and inclusion through all aspects of his work. Christopher is dedicated to the vision of a financial services industry that fulfills the diverse needs of all Canadians. He has contributed to numerous publications, radio, tv, podcasts and blogs to help educate and empower the public.
Today he is a member of both MDRT and CALU, serves as a non-scientific research ethics board member on the Research Ethics Board at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto and sits on the board of directors for FP Canada.
