The Edge Benefits announced Sept. 7 the launch of a new Health Spending Account (HSA) capability to accompany its recent Health and Dental launch in June of this year.
"For those who are incorporated, this capability is absolutely outstanding in that it uses corporate versus personal dollars, which creates cost savings that can fund more important things - such as Income Protection," said Neil A. Paton, president and chief executive officer of The Edge Benefits.
Smart phone expense submission
The HSA capability allows for smart phone expense submission, and is based on a "pay as you go" methodology that does not require any up-front funding, says the company.
The Edge Benefits partnered with myHSA on this project, said Paton. "We felt that they were where the market needs to be in regard to leveraging today's technology, offering outstanding simplicity and flexibility, and doing so in an extremely cost-effective manner."
